Purpur Sweater (English)

English knitting pattern

Purpur Sweater is a raglan sweater with a high neck, a relaxed fit and slits at the body. The sweater is knitted top down. First, the neckline is knitted. The yoke is then worked with raglan increases before the work is joined to knit the body. The sleeves are knitted in the round with decreases.

Please check the measurements and size guide before you start knitting. The measurements are calculated according the given gauge. Knit a gauge swatch first, so that you hit the correct gauge. Take measurements after washing and blocking. You might have to change the needle size to hit the correct gauge.

Gauge
14/10 in stockinette stitch on a 6 mm needle
(14 sts x 22 rounds = 10 x 10 cm)

16/10 in ribbing (k1 tbl, p1) on a 5,5 mm needle
(16 sts x 24 rounds = 10 × 10 cm)

Materials
450 (500) 550 (600) 650 (700) 750 g Finull by Rauma Garn (50 g = 175 m). Note: The sweater is knitted with two strands held together, and the given yardage is the total yardage required.
