Korshavn Sweater Junior (english)
English knitting pattern
Korshavn Sweater Junior is worked bottom up in basket pattern according the chart. First the ribbing and body are worked in the round. The ribbing is worked with twisted knit stitches. The body is then divided into yoke and sleeves and both front and back are finished separately. You cast off stitches for the neckline both at front and back and knit the shoulders together. You then pick up stitches around the armhole openings for the sleeves, which are worked in the round with decreases following the chart. Finally, you pick up stitches around the neckline and the ribbing is folded to the sweater’s wrong side.

Korshavn Sweater Junior has it’s unique structure worked in basketweaves with holes. The materials are Peer Gynt, which is 100% Norwegian wool, together with silk mohair. This yarn combination gives a warm and soft sweater with good durability. Korshavn Sweater is just as good for everyday use such as for outdoor activities.
